By working closely with our clients' teams, we help them deliver projects that exceed expectations.
What We Do
We provide project management services blended with one-to-one coaching of team members - both of which can be tailored to meet the client's specific needs.
We work closely with the client's senior management and the specialist members of their teams to help define the goals of their projects, ensuring that all day-to-day activities are accurately targeted towards meeting these goals. And our ongoing discussions across the team help to build a perspective that we are working together to deliver a coherent project, not just a fragmented bundle of outputs. This results in a team with a shared focus, a team that is armed with the ability to analyse problems rigorously and communicate solutions with clarity, so that complex business and technical issues can be addressed without delay.
This is all about creating clarity and simplicity out of complexity, while keeping the entire team focused on a shared project outcome.

A thread that runs through Peter's delivery roles is coaching of team members on the need for a “project mindset” that underpins everything they do, along with the need for careful thought processes and clear communication at all levels throughout the programme.
We don’t distract from the core activities. We just make it possible to do them so much more effectively! Which is why clients so often ask us to help with projects that have previously been struggling, and we consistently turn them into high performing projects.
cmbprojectcoach is part of CMB Consulting Limited, which has been operating successfully since 2001. CMB was founded by Peter Barr with a view to building on his diverse experience in managing high value, complex technology projects.
In over 20 years with CMB, Peter has delivered successful projects for some of the biggest brands in the UK and central government departments. One of the strengths behind this success has been his ability to bring clarity to any problem or any decision that needs to be made.
